The Healthcare Compliance Blog

The Healthcare Compliance Blog is a different kind of blog and first one in this niche I have come across. I do not find normally these kinds of blogs. This blog, as the name suggests, deals with the developments in healthcare compliance, enforcement, audit, reform & litigation. In short, I can say that this involves the legal part of the healthcare industry.

the-healthcare-compliance-blogThe design part, I must say, is very good. The blog is nicely laid out without any fuss. The blogger has kept in mind that since this is a healthcare compliance blog, he could not make it too tacky and bright, so he has used nice theme and color scheme which is sober. The header comprises the blog’s name and the three purposes it solves – prevention, compliance, and advocacy. The overall look is soothing and matches with the blog’s niche.

The sidebar is also well thought and things are in order. Subscription form, few ads and the usual popular links and posts columns are all well laid in the sidebar. The designer has made an effort to make this blog look sleek, simple and yet, not boring.

The author here is Frank Sheeder who is a lawyer involved in the healthcare industry. So, he is pretty aware of all things, big and small in the industry. I would like to make a confession that I am not very well versed with his niche and so, I am not in a position to comment much on the content. But the blog is updated regularly which is an indirect testimony to the fact that the content is well received by the readers, and hence the encouragement to write regularly.

One thing I found missing was the comments part. The blog doesn’t seem to have a commenting form to take the interaction and conversation with readers to the next level. There are social media buttons for sharing the blog posts though.

I would conclude this review by suggesting everyone involved in this industry to have at least one go at this blog. I am sure you will stumble on to something interesting and useful to you.
