Neelu’s Cuisine is a recipe blog by Neelu Challa, a blogger from India. The blog wears a clean look, is easy on eyes but the page load time is little high. A cute little banner near the menu towards the top displays the age of the blog. At the time of this review, the blog was 6 six months, three weeks and 6 days old.
There are lots of different recipes on the blog. Most of them are Indian such as Rajma (kidney bean) masala, Pudhina (mint) rice, Onion-Tomato Chutney, Sheera (an Indian dessert), etc. though there are some other varieties of cuisines too. You will also find recipes for curries, rice, chutneys and desserts here.
There is an instrumental music track playing on continuous loop when one opens the blog. It is quite a nice calming tune but it can be annoying if you are playing your own music. The music comes from the slide show titled ‘Here’s a Sneak Peek’ in the right sidebar; so if one so wishes, it can be switched off from here.
The ‘Secret of my recipes’ page makes a nice little read. It is here that Neelu explains that cooking is an art and that it is all about experimentation. If you don’t get it right the first time, you will get it perfect the next time. Visit the blog for some quick, easy and tasty Indian recipes.
