inDepth Sports Coverage is a blog run by JB and Mike Ryans where they talk about three most popular sports leagues in his country – NBA (Basketball), NFL (Football) and MLB (Baseball). The blog has been recently started, and still finding its way in huge sea of blogs.
The bloggers have selected a good theme and have made an effort to customize it to suit the blog. But there are too many widgets in the sidebars which unnecessarily clutter the things. May be going for one sidebar (either the left or the right one) instead of two would be a better idea.
There are more than 50 posts written in July 2011 alone. This shows the bloggers’ keenness to write. They have been successful in getting some inside news as they claim. The posts are completely based on the leagues mentioned earlier, and people who follow these games will find them quite interesting.
The niche of the blog is pretty much limited. Besides this, there are already many blogs writing on this topic. As such, pulling readers and getting them hooked on to the blog is not that easy. But given the authors’ zeal and enthusiasm (see the frequency of posting), the blog should gain some momentum in time to come (as of now, it’s just a few months old). Here’s wishing the duo bloggers the best of luck!
